Led by Fritzi Gros-Daillon, a nationally recognized CAPS instructor and aging-in-place expert, this consulting service supports professionals who need practical, project-specific insight beyond certification coursework. While CAPS training establishes a strong foundation, consulting provides personalized guidance for navigating the realities of homes, clients, safety concerns, and accessibility decisions. CAPS consulting sessions may include: Applying CAPS principles to active remodeling, design, or home modification projects Evaluating aging-in-place and home safety strategies for individual clients Identifying accessibility solutions that balance safety, function, aesthetics, and budget Clarifying best practices for working with older adults and their families Translating CAPS knowledge into ethical, compliant, real-world recommendations Supporting professionals in complex or uncertain aging-in-place scenarios This CAPS consulting service is ideal for professionals who: Have completed CAPS and want ongoing implementation support Are actively working with aging-in-place clients Want expert input on safety, accessibility, or home modification decisions Value practical guidance rooted in real-world experience Consulting is offered in 60-minute virtual sessions and is available through flexible consulting packages. Sessions are collaborative, focused, and grounded in decades of experience in aging-in-place education and CAPS instruction. This service is intended for professionals seeking experienced CAPS consulting support to apply aging-in-place principles to real homes and real clients confidently.


Cancellation Policy

Booking & Scheduling: Consultation and consulting sessions are scheduled through our online booking system and are available up to 90 days in advance. Same-day bookings are not available. All sessions are conducted virtually via Zoom. Clients are responsible for ensuring they have access to the meeting link at the scheduled time. Cancellation & Rescheduling: Clients may cancel or reschedule sessions up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled start time. Complimentary sessions: Cancellations or reschedules made with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in the session being forfeited. Paid consulting sessions: Cancellations or reschedules made with less than 24 hours’ notice will count as a used session. We understand that unexpected situations may arise. One courtesy exception may be granted at our discretion. Additional exceptions will not be offered. No-Shows: If a client does not attend a scheduled session and does not provide notice in advance: Complimentary sessions are forfeited, paid sessions are counted as used. Late Arrivals: Sessions begin and end at their scheduled times. A 5–10 minute grace period may be accommodated when possible; however, sessions will not be extended beyond the original end time. Consulting Packages: Consulting packages are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise stated. Unused sessions expire at the end of this period. Refund Policy: Consulting packages are non-refundable once the first session has been completed. Complimentary sessions have no cash value and are not eligible for refunds or credits. Professional Scope: Consulting sessions are intended to provide professional guidance and insight related to aging-in-place principles and CAPS implementation. Sessions do not replace professional licensure, site inspections, or regulatory approvals.
