About Fritzi Gros-Daillon

Fritzi Gros-Daillon is a successful entrepreneur and savvy veteran in Senior Move Management, Environmental Consulting, and Aging-in-Place Home Safety and Modification. Her Master’s in Business from Columbia University, combined with the Certified Senior Advisor designation and Certified Aging in Place Specialist, gives her the experience, perspective, and expertise to work with older adults and families when the decisions about home modification or moving need to be faced.

Fritzi is a Master Instructor for the National Association of Homebuilders, offering the Certified Aging-In-Place Specialist training. She certifies remodelers, designers, DME suppliers, occupational therapists and physical therapists, and other professionals in the three-day course. Having taught over 400 students from 38 states, Canada, Mexico, and Taiwan, Fritzi now
conducts this training virtually and at client locations throughout the US. Since 2020, Fritzi conducts this training virtually and at client locations throughout the US.

Her first book, “Grace and Grit: Insights to Real Life Challenges of Aging for Adult Children and their Parents”, has won five national book awards and the Canadian Book Excellence Award. The book shares real-life stories of people faced with the delicate balance of parent and child with transitions later in life. The book offers insight, humor, and a deeper understanding of the complexity of the roles and the decisions. Readers discover that they are not alone, as Fritzi experienced as a long-distance caregiver and professional in the senior move management/aging-in-place field.

Fritzi is a collaborating author of “Aging in Place Conversations – What Industry Experts Have to Say”, with the National Aging in Place Council (NAIPC) in September 2022. This book has already
won two book awards. She is excited to contribute to the next NAIPC book, which is due for publication in September 2023, entitled “Difficult Aging in Place Conversations.”
